WITH GREAT POSSIBILITIES BECOME REALITIES

But Jesus looked at them and said to them,

“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

With faith great possibilities become realities. That’s my divinely inspired decree for this day! I just love chatting with my friend Joyce Blair who lovingly shares that she and her husband were living comfortable lives, secure in their vocations and then their lives took a turn-a turn for really becoming quite interesting; they dreamed vividly, boldly prayed with expectant faith, explored and obtained the momentum needed to embrace a new reality. Together the Blair’s ventured out; and took the great leap of faith to become owner and innkeeper. There it sits now a beautiful B & B aptly entitled:

The Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast

232 S. Armistead Avenue

Hampton, Virginia 23669

This most impressive bed and breakfast’s initial appearance made family members wonder if the Blair’s were being prudent with their decision. They ignored the naysayers and the objector’s glares. Why refurbish a Victorian home in downtown Hampton? I am sure in their heart’s they adamantly said, “Why not?” Thank God Lankford and Joyce kept their faith and their vision. Today an impressive list of visitor’s (not only in the US) from across the globe frequent their outstanding establishment for respite, vacations, receptions, teas and business meetings.

Been in touch with anyone objecting or questioning your dreams? It matters not! I am sure that you too know what it means to unwaveringly see what you see and have faith enough to believe what you believe!

It’s a fact my friend; others can’t dream our dream and live out our faith!

What’s stirring in your heart?
What are you hoping and dreaming for?
What are you longing to accomplish?
Do you see what God has instilled in you to do?

Well, it surely can happen. Let’s be encouraged to dream big and faithfully act on the vision by Joyce & Lankford Blair http://www.virginia.org/site/features.asp?FeatureID=434 . They've remind us not to waiver in our faith that our dreams are not an impossibilty!

With God at the helm, all things are possible to those who believe!
Enjoy Southern Sophistication and know you are welcomed to take a tour, appreciate the view, listen to the up tempo music and breathe in the wonderful aromas of this majestic and peace filled Magnolia House. If I know my friends, they'll say, "Sit awhile and relax." As you breathe easy take in God’s goodness and the Blair’s testament of living passionately!
Have a wonderful day and a blessed Christmas holiday!
