BULLS EYE: ON TARGET FOR BUILDING A FOUNDATION FOR A BETTER LIFE

For God’s gifts and His call can never be withdrawn”
(Romans 11:29, NLT).

God made it so easy for us today through the insightful message from the Foundation for A Better Life'! What immediatley came to mind was BULLS EYE! The message was right on target! Nothing in our lives just happens without some initiative, planning and preparation; we learn from many life lessons that wishing is often futile!

“If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward,
you're always in the same place.”
—Nora Roberts (b. 1950), fiction author
Nora Roberts must have experienced going after what she desired and finally it happened. Possibly it was the book being published, the house being built, the garden planted, the children's play house constructed, the long awaited adoption, the love one returning, the peace of mind had, the coins needed, the healing, the expectation-the answer to a prayer. I feel the Holy Spirit urging us not to abandon our heart's desires and exercise our initiative, to seek, find, walk , run whatever it takes to accomplish our desired goals.
I encourage you to always pray, read scripture for your diivine vitamins, and apply His word! Lord knows it takes stamina and energy and not always our own.
But God can surely shore up your strength as you recall the vitality and committment you posssibly once had to get moving closer to your goal.
Ask the Lord for directiion and trust that He'll do just that and then allow you the opportunity to realize what awaits you! His resources are amazing and plentiful!
Remember to shout, "Bulls Eye!" for God's faithulness and your resolve to move ahead! Shout "Bulls Eye" for many victories accomplished as you build your foundation for a better life.
Come on friends get your archery supplies in order and embrace the call and gifts that God has purposed in you!

ACT LIKE YOU KNOW!

Sun Masked Plate

“For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who can annul it?

And His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back”

(Isaiah 14:27, AMP).

Friends I earnestly believe that this is more for me than for you today. Of course I couldn't rest until I shared this! I trust God in urging me to write in order that'll we'll all benefit from today's lesson.

At the conclusion of my conversation with my mother yesterday early evening, I was compelled to request, “Mama please pray for me.!” I then said , “What would we do without our Mamas!” She laughed and readily agreed that that was the truth. Before hanging up the phone she once again assured me that the decision I would make would be the right one and that God would provide me the needed direction regarding my next steps.

Why was I feeling counter to this reality?

Sometimes we say one thing but doubt creeps in.

Certainly I was sure of this but-you know that word “but”- which usually means we’re not quite sure of things! Reservation takes hold of our thoughts and uncertainty propels us to wonder if things really will turn out anything like we’d hoped for? Well that hesitancy must have said to my spirit that that wasn’t faith, that that was doubt rearing his ugly face causing me anguish! I then said, “I need to act like I know! Act like I know God’s in control and will see me through!”

Yes, I spoke it and understood once again that feelings often cloud divine reality for a believer. What appears isn’t always the true indicator of what will be!

God‘s mighty outstretched arms twist the fate of doubt. But is a grammatical exception, it’s generally negative, it’s the flip side has no place in the believer’s life. It’s prosperity ruined, it’s hope dashed, it’s the rain before the storm, it’s but; and it’s dismal, it’s dim and it dashes dreams and aspirations. Scripture beautifully steps over that conjunction and states that:

“For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who can annul it?

And His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back” (Isaiah 14:27, AMP).

Enjoy the well-timed devotional that I received today from Joel Osteen entitled: God's Outstretched Hand. Friends as you reflect on this scripture and writing I will take my own medicine and act like I know God’s outstretched hand protects, guides, nurtures and sweetly comforts me and you! No ifs ands or buts!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
“For the Lord of hosts has purposed,
and who can annul it?

And His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it
back” (Isaiah 14:27, AMP).

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria:

As believers, you and I have an advantage. We don’t have to go through life
just depending on our own talent, our own ability, our own strength. The
Scripture talks about how God’s hand is outstretched toward His people. That
means there is a supernatural power behind every believer. God’s outstretched
hand will help you accomplish dreams that you thought were impossible. His
outstretched hand will cause you to get well even when the medical report says
there is no way. The outstretched hand of God will help us to prosper even when
the economy is down. Let this sink down into your heart today. All through the
day, imagine God’s hand outstretched toward you. It is a hand of healing, a hand
of favor, a hand of restoration. No matter what you may be facing, you have to
realize there is a force for you that is greater than any force that will ever
be against you. You’re attitude should be, “I am not settling where I am. I know
I have an advantage. As a child of the Most High, I know God’s hand is
outstretched toward me.”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, thank You for Your
outstretched hand of protection and provision for me. I choose to lay aside
every fear and every concern knowing that You will make a way for me. In Jesus’
Name. Amen.
